A “Bluegrass Concert & Dinner” fundraising event will be held on Saturday, July 10th, 2010 at Mountain View Golf Course (Ewing, NJ) to support the New Jersey Museum of Agriculture.  The program begins at 6:00 p.m.  This event will raise much needed funds for the museum’s Education Department to secure necessary materials, equipment and supplies.

The event features a bluegrass concert by the Riverside Bluegrass Band, catered buffet dinner, and an open bar of wine and beer for four hours. A cash bar is available for additional spirits. Tickets are $60.00 per person and pre-registration is required. Tickets will be available through July 1st, 2010. The event promises to be an enjoyable summer evening of great food, great wine, and great music.

The cornerstone of the New Jersey Museum of Agriculture’s educational mission is the school programs, which provide demonstrational, themed tours and hands on activities for students K through 6th grade.  Over 12,000 students participate in the Museum’s education programs annually, many coming from urban communities such as Trenton, Newark, and New Brunswick.  The Museum’s school programs have been recognized for their quality as both a reinforcement and enrichment of school curriculum.
