DIRECTIONS TO THE NEW JERSEY MUSEUM OF AGRICULTURE
Notice to GPS, Mapquest and Google Maps users:
We recommend that you follow the general directions. We find that the directions that these websites create bring you to a site
off of Ryders Lane or to the Route 1 North side of College Farm Road, which is a Department of Transportation work-yard.

NEW JERSEY TURNPIKE – NORTH OR SOUTH
Take the NJ Turnpike to Exit 9 - New Brunswick
After the toll, stay to the right & get onto Route 18 North
Follow Route 18 North to Route 1 South
Follow Route 1 South to the third exit - College Farm Road (approx. 30 seconds)
Make a right onto College Farm Rd
The Museum is the first building on the right - there is a windmill in the front of the building.
GARDEN STATE PARKWAY - FROM THE SOUTH
Take Exit 129 - New Jersey Turnpike
Take the NJ Turnpike to Exit 9 -New Brunswick
Follow the directions above
GARDEN STATE PARKWAY - FROM THE NORTH
Take Exit 130 - Route 1 South
Follow Route 1 South over the Raritan River - (when you pass Loew’s Theater, about 10 minutes)
Take the fourth exit after Loew’s Theater - College Farm Road
Make a right onto College Farm Road
The Museum is the first building on the right - there is a windmill in front of the building.
ROUTE 1 FROM THE NORTH
Follow the directions above after you get off of the parkway.
ROUTE 1 FROM THE SOUTH Note: Construction on Route 1, Revised Directions as of 07-19-09.
Take Route 1 North, pass the Route 130 Interchange, to Ryders Lane (to New Brunswick)
Follow the orange detour signs – go to the Ryders Lane ramp and make the u-turn for Route 1 South
Merge on to Route 1 South
Take the next exit - College Farm Rd - This is the entrance to the Cook Campus of Rutgers University.
Make a right on to College Farm Rd
The Museum is the first building on the right - there is a windmill in front of the building.
ROUTE 287 FROM THE NORTH
Take 287 to Exit 9
Make a right onto River Rd
Take River Rd to Route 18 South
Take 18 South to Route 1 South
Take Route 1 South to the third exit - College Farm Rd
