Talking Cow Card Supplies:
Instructions
- Print out the pre-made card template on the colored paper or cardstock of your choice.
- Print out the pre-made cow face template on white paper.
- Cut the card template in half (horizontal). Fold one card in half so that the poem is the front side of the card.
- Cut the cow template in half (horizontal).
- Fold the cow face in half and cut a straight slit. Make the cut half as big as you would like your cow’s mouth.
- Fold the edges down to make 2 triangles, then open your paper all the way.
- Poke each triangle through, turn your card to the inside, and fold the mouth out along the ‘fold lines’ that are already there. This is the tricky part, but once you’ve done it, it’s easy!
- The inside of your card should have a pop out mouth now.
- Use crayons or markers to color in the cow face.
- Glue the cow face to the inside of the card. Do not glue the cow face completely, just the outside edges. Move approximate 1/4” from the outside edge of the card on the left and right sides. This will keep the cow face flexible in order to open and close.
