Feedback

At the March 2nd, 2010 Board of Trustees meeting, it was decided that Summer Camp 2010 will be canceled. After careful consideration, we realized that offering summer camp would not be feasible without increasing the registration fees substantially. With the current economic situation our nation faces, we felt that increasing the price of summer camp would not be favorable to our patrons. We hope to bring back our summer camp program again for Summer 2011.

In addition, the museum is reorganizing programs and events to maximize the cost effectiveness in order to provide quality programs to our patrons. For example, we are offering a summer educational program for area summer camps to bring their students to the museum for their field trips.

During this economic crisis, we have implemented short term closures (i.e. Winter and Summer Breaks) in order to control expenses. The decision to cut programming is heart wrenching, but we make these cuts in order to care for our collection for many years to come.
